I'll be honest a little bit of procrastination but more so, extremely busy with family activities is why I have not posted anything since the 18th. But, in the spirit of ridding myself of procrastination and my Thinking Pink 2011 goal, Here I am. short post tonight because it is late but I wanted to make sure I jot down a few words...Are you still with me?

Thinking Pink 2/17

Good evening,

Tonight I will be very brief, mainly I am tired. I had a long day at work and I'm turning in a little early. As though it is not after Mid-night. As I said I had a long day and it was busy as well with the upcoming Holiday a lot of my clients are off on Monday which mean't they wanted to get their orders in before the weekend. That's all good because I could use a really good commission check towards my class I will be taking to further along my career change.

Alright that's it...for tonight.

Hey All,

It's been a couple days since my last posting, partly because I share my computer and it has been tied up, but mostly procrastination, but I'm determined to rid myself of this terrible habit of procrastination. So here we are back on track! Let's see where I am as far as goals...still Blogging, still working on career change I'm reading up on my new career almost daily. I will be starting a class in June that will move me further into my new career. I liked "Dress for Success" on facebook as well I bookmarked the site so that I can go back to see how I might volunteer from time to time.

My biggest goal for 2011 is a major and like I posted in the beginning God is assisting me in that one. I'm still looking for my long lost friend Kim Henley, I gotta step it up and see if I can find her Mother on the East Coast. Oh, I'm getting together with a friend next week so...goals being met. Some slowly but I'm doing it and I am pretty in PINK satisfied.

Fallen off the wagon? get up and start again!

Thinking Pink 2/13

Hi All,

I had a very peaceful day today, The sermon today was regarding Matthew 6. "Do Not Worry" I have read this chapter over and over for years and as of 2 years ago...I Obey it. Issues and circumstances have come and gone over the past 2 years, I think about each thing and turn over to God.

After services today, I had a most relaxing Sunday, I did not clean, I did not cook but I feel like I did get a few other things done around simple things but things I don't do often like organize my jewlery box.

I've also added my 7th Thinking Pink 2011 goal, I'm going to get involved with a non-profit organization dedicated to offering or assisting with 2nd chances. Hmmm, How about "Dress for Success" I have donated suits to this organization in the past and had wanted to help but because I am a procrastinator I never did. Well, I'll give them a call tomorrow and see how I may be of help.

I still have to figure what service I am going to do unto the Lord at my own church though, Let's put a date on it...March 1st.

Oh, those unexpected calls I was to make today, I actually had two unexpected incoming calls a friend and a cousin. It was great talking to both of them. but, I was supposed to call someone, I don't really like talking on the phone all that much but I need to set that goal just so that I wont forget, why don't I look for an old high school friend Kim Henley...Last time I talked to her was 2001.

Ahhh, what a relaxing Day! Thank you Lord for your Blessings!

Thinking Pink 2/12

Good evening,

No posting from me last night, Long day yesterday. My daughter had a Valentines dance in which 8 of the girls came over my house to get dressed, I ended up being the Hairstylist and seamstress. Strapless dresses sometimes need a little altering on Jr. High girls. (Tee Hee) After the girls left for the dance I went to my other daughters soccer game 7 - 9pm. I was so exhausted when I got home.

But I must say I had two pleasant surprises, when I came home from the game Son#1 had just drove up from Los Angeles, when I woke up this morning Son #2 had arrived from Los Angeles about 4am. I was pleasantly surprised on both visits.

Did I mention that Daughter #1 sent me a lovely Valentine's Card? Love It!!! Sometimes the simplest things in life, such as an unexpected visit or a card can bring such joy and warmth to your heart and spirit.

Note to self...call someone unexpectanly tomorrow!

Thinking Pink 2/10 - A

I invited a few friends to visit my blog...Welcome! Now this Blogging thing is totally new to me but it is one of my Thinking Pink 2011 goals to Blog at least to the end of the year. I have a few kinks to work out. Please be patient this is a work in progress!

Thinking Pink 2/10

Hey All,

I didn't post last night, after work I went to my daughters soccer game, 7 - 9pm, by the time I got home I was exhausted!!! So here we are the evening of the 10th. Ahhh, today is my Friday, do I have plans for my day off tomorrow? NOT. I just needed a mental health day, no official holidays at work until May(Memorial Day).

So I did take another step towards my career change, I'm so excited about my career endeavor by the end of this year I will have made a major accomplishment. My advice to young people out there, dream big and plan your life according to your dreams nothing is too far fetched if you ask God to guide your path. My Advice to the more mature in age, are you at your absolute best? if so keep on keeping on if NOT, Step out on Faith and be all you can be.

Thinking Pink 2/9 12am

Hi All,
Wanted to say Good night, or should I say Good morning it is Midnight and I'm torn between a snack and just going to bed. I think I will just go to bed, but the urge to eat my McDonalds cherry pie is eating at me(pun)...Let me share with you a trick, I am going to go brush my teeth no way you can eat especially a tart snack after brushing your teeth, Right?

I had a most Blessed Day, nothing out of the ordinary happend but, I woke up thanked God for that Blessing and began the day singing his praises and I am telling you the rest of the day fell in order...If you are not waking up to a conversation with God, start tomorrow. Now, you know the enemey is going to try and join the conversation as well, but you know that saying "This is an A and B conversation C your way out of it"....Tell that to the enemy!!!!!

So, I did not work on my career change at all today, I do have one action item towards that goal tomorrow...Procrastination go away!

I'm going to add a 6th goal for the year and that is to plan a trip to New York spring 2012. Now, let's see if I can edit post 2/7 to add the 6th goal.

Have you made some short and long term goals for 2011? if not Think Pink get it done!

Thinking Pink 2/8

Hey All,

First I want to thank my small group of followers and those that had such warm, positive and supportive comments on both my blog and email. You are wonderfully Pink!!!!

Now, before I drop my thoughts for today, I know some are trouble either following and/or leaving comments...sorry about that. I have a few kinks to Iron out. Thinking Pink 2/7

Thinking Pink, but feeling more Magenta at the moment: So my goal is to Blog until at least the end of this year...I procrastinated on Saturday but I was so motivated and had much to say yesterday but I could not navigate my way to find the "New Post" Button. Aha! I found it tonight and as I'm typing I'm feeling more and more pink! Since I'm on the subject of Procrastination, How bout I rid myself of this terrible habit, by at least setting 10 Thinking Pink 2011 goals: I'll start with 5 for the first part of the year because #1 I'm moody and change my mind at the drop of a hat and #2 I'm a major procrastinator so let's see:

1 Blog until the end of the year (at least) (started)
2 start the process of a major career change (started, and very excited)
3 get involved in something at my church... (thinking about the choir but Hmmm)
4 Hang out with friends more often...(tough one, I'm a loner)
5 this one is personal, God is helping with this one... (TBA)
